Lying Eyes & Alibis
Reviews
Dark secrets and whites lies. Everyone has them, especially, Janelle Hart. After walking away from organized crime, she starts a new life with her daughter and cat in the quiet mountain town of Spring Rock, Colorado. JC claims her ex is dead, but fears he’ll appear any moment. She has another problem. Her online friend, Josh, has moved to the same town. She knows her new identity is safe from him, but what about her heart?
Mr. Love’em & Leave’em—Josh Sutter knows JC’s real identity and why she ran. She may have secrets and lies, but he has a fair share, too. Will JC still love him when she discovers part of his job is to hang out with the same type of criminals she left behind? Moreover, can he save them both from their lies and the deadly secrets from the past?

JT Schultz grabs her readers from the very first page and she does not let go until the very end! With this being my third book by Ms. Schultz, I can truly say that Lying Eyes & Alibis is the best one yet! Both Josh and JC have dark secrets that they never want to see the light of day and as Josh finds out through his friends that JC is actually his Janelle he goes ballistic! JC, on the other hand, omits to tell Josh that Dom is not dead, only dead to her. When she finds out Josh's secret her heart shatters. This book has so much action to it that readers should be amazed at JC's skills and I wonder why she did not turn her badass girl routine on him! Lying Eyes and Alibis is so good that I cannot imagine how JT will top it!

This story that Ms. Schultz penned was absolutely incredible. It grabbed me at the very first sentence and held my attention right to the very end. I found myself glued to my chair and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. The story packed quite a bit of suspense and my heart was pounding out of my chest during the high intensity scenes. Without a doubt, I fell in love with JC and I loved how dare devilish and feisty she was. Ms. Schultz penned a story that I would highly recommend to any reader and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this storyline. This is a keeper in my library. You have to pick this story up! I know you will enjoy it as much as I did!

Lying Eyes and Alibis by JT Schultz was an interesting and sometimes confusing book for me to read. Mrs. Schultz did a great job giving the characters of this story plenty of depth and personality. It was this and the many secrets of the book that threw me off kilter a time or two. Generally, I follow along with secrets and suspense in a book very well, but I found that this story did not flow together easily at times. That being said, I had a hard time putting this book down from the very first line. It kept my attention, and I found myself thinking about it when I wasn’t reading it. The attraction and sex between JC and Josh was hot, and the unsaid love was sweet. Overall, this book was good and by the end of the story, all of my confusion was gone. This was my first JT Schultz book, and I will be looking for more from this author.

The author lulls us into a nice romance and
then the keg we knew was there blows up. JC
has been hiding some skills behind her sweet
demeanor that makes her a powerhouse when
her man and her family is threatened. When
Josh's secret job comes to the forefront at
almost the same time we get a lot of action
and reaction that drives the book to a
thrilling, action-packed finale. This is a
great storyline that combines eroticism,
family values, and romance with that
underlying thread of suspense to keep the
reader on their toes throughout.
