ABOUT ME
Wow, where to begin… Well obviously
if you’ve reached here, you know my name is JT Schultz. I live in sunny
California with my husband, my teen daughter the drama queen, a
spoiled cat and a bunny that thinks she’s a cat. I was born and raised
in Alberta, Canada where it’s much colder.
I think part of me always knew I was supposed to be a writer. The fact
that I was always writing stories and driving my grandmother crazy was a
good indication. Of course there was also that whole incident in the 8th
grade where I almost failed do to, “writing the perfect movie”. It's
still a goal and thankfully, ended up passing the 8th grade.
My true passion in life is my writing. Corrupted as a child with
“Happily Ever After” to the point that now, all my stories have to have
one. Reading great stories and watching movies are also loves, they were
the motivation for me to write and explore the “what ifs”.
Though I have books coming out, currently there is no Movies & More
page, which means no movies. There will be though. I’m too stubborn not
to succeed. If you don’t believe me, ask my mother and husband.
Actually, anyone that knows me can confirm it.

I honestly believe that one of the
best moments in a romance is the first kiss. It doesn’t matter if it’s a
slow build up or because it’s the only way, the hero or heroine can shut
the other up. It’s always great and leaves them wanting more.
One of the things I love about the old movies is the degree of
sensuality. Despite the fact, most of my books are sexy to the core with
“Adult Language” I can’t help but think back to an era when sex just
didn’t happen on the Silver Screen. So what did the writers do?
They focused on the little things that build the attraction and ignite
the spark in the heart. It’s the way the hero delivers the line, the way
he takes her hand for the first time or the simple flutter and smile the
leading lady experiences when she firsts meet the man that will give her
the “happily ever after”. It was the looks, the touches and pitter
patter, which makes the first steps on the road to true love all the
sweeter.
What else can I say about my writing?
I love to laugh. I don’t mean giggle, I mean heartfelt laughing out
loud. Human beings are funny creatures naturally and sometimes it’s that
laugh, which brings people together. Laughter cures the blues, eases
heartache and can remove the clouds over a soul. When the hero and
heroine can share a laugh, it’s a step closer to sharing their hearts. |

Feisty, smart and sassy are usually
in order when it comes to my leading ladies. They’re also pretty, kick
ass at times. If they can’t stand up to their leading man, they will
never survive one of my stories. They are usually well dressed too,
because it’s really, all about the accessories.

Where to start?
I love my heroes larger than life, tall, dark and handsome. Of course,
over the top in sexy is always a must. They have to love a challenge,
especially in the heroine. If they have an element of danger or mystery
about them, it’s even more fun.
